Dodeka will help you to easily play the keys

Dodeka aims to make playing music simple and easy to do even if you’ve never learned how.

With Dodeka the creators have combined a novel and clear music notation with innovative musical instruments that simplifies music by as much as twenty times or more. This is the creation of  father and son,Jacques-Daniel & Josua Rochat.

The idea is to reinvent the way that music is written. This introduces a four line structure and a musical scale of twelve notes. Interestingly, the name means twelve in ancient Greek.

With this notation, other signs of music theory such as flat and sharp simply disappears. Now sheet music becomes clear and easy to read. So, even if you are an inexperienced composer, welcome to the future where you can now write your own music too.

They also designed a new xylophone.

“Playing our DODEKA xylophone is as easy as playing the DODEKA keyboard. It’s basically the same idea: play what you see.”

They have also got an app. You will be able to play their innovative musical instruments and access sheet music from wherever you are.

It will remove the stress and frustrations of music theory and turn the experience into one that is more relaxing and enjoyable even if you are an amateur.

“Dodeka is simple, clear, and intuitive, our musical innovation is intended to everyone, from beginners to masters. Our aim is not to replace the traditional music system, obviously. We want to provide an alternative to music theory to give everyone the opportunity to play music in a simple and intuitive manner.”

They plan to offer quality music instruments, a learning guide, a wide selection of sheet music, and the app that you can use to access digital sheet music.
