Pioneer DJ DDJ-SR2 midrange DJ Contoller Announced
Pioneer DJ have upgraded one of their Serato DJ controllers to include a new 2-channel derivative known as the DDJ-SR2.
The DDJ-SR2 inherits design traits and features from their higher-end pro gear such as multi-coloured Performance Pads that give you instant feedback on pad modes and playing statuses. The unit also comes bundled with the Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Pack.
Pitch ‘n Time DJ is a Time-Stretching and Key-Shifting algorithm feature for Serato DJ. This expansion pack allows you to shift and sync the key of your tracks as well as speeding up and slowing down your tracks to extreme tempos without the key changing.
This new 2-channel controller is 18% lighter than the DDJ-SR and is super compact making it easy to transport to gigs.
The DDJ-SR2 is also Serato DVS Upgrade Ready (you’d need to buy this separately) but it does include a full version of Serato DJ.
