Despite the version number, Cubasis 2.1 is not just a maintenance release of the popular iOS DAW for iPad although for owners of version 2 it is FREE!
Steinberg have actually done some pretty serious changes including a new looking MIDI editor, added AudioBus 3 support and included their RoomWorks SE reverb too.
Cubasis 2.1 is a fully fledged music production system for iPad; you can record, edit and mix on Cubasis 2.1 and the DAW includes editing features such as pitch shifting and time stretching audio.
The app also includes a studio-grade channel strip and a whole host of pro sounding effects, instruments and refills plus the aforementioned new revised MIDI editor.
