Blipblox synthesizer will get your kids into electronic music
Playtime can set your child’s electronic music career up with the Blipblox synthesizer.
The name even sounds ‘synthie;’ the Blipblox Audio Exploration Module was designed by Playtime Engineering and will have your kids hooked on electronic music!
BlipBlox is a fully functional synthesizer beatbox that has been simplified to the point that your 3- year old can enjoy making electronic music.
Instead of the gross generic keyboard sounds plaguing kids’ toys, BlipBlox uses a proprietary algorithm that synthesizes unique waveforms- it’s the real deal.
You may be thinking; “How great can it really be?” Most adults interested in electronic music will want one; just you wait and see the video.
Features
Its features read like any adult synthesizer (whatever that means.) MIDI input for an external keyboard or sequencer controller.
- Eight unique oscillator modulation schemes.
- One Low Pass Filter.
- Two Envelope Generators.
- Two LFOs.
- 3- in/3-out modulation matrix.
- Performance Mode optimizes device display for music production.
- Audio Output jack.
The built-in sequencer comes with hundreds of melodies to explore and features an integrated drum machine.
Instead of just playing notes, the Blipblox allows you to design your own soundwave, digging deeper into the world of sound.
Playtime Engineering will be showcasing the BlipBlox Audio Exploration Module at the 2018 NAMM Show, taking place 25-28 January (now) in California.
Pricing and availability isn’t available yet, but seeing as it’s a toy for kids I can’t see how it will cost an arm and a leg, which is even more exciting.
Imagine the Producers of the future if they can start out ‘tinkering’ on the Blipblox at age 3?
