Beat School is a new VR DJ simulation game coming to Steam
Beat School is a new hyper-realistic VR game coming to Steam, designed to help you learn how to DJ.
Beat School is a VR environment which mimics the gear layout you would expect to see at most clubs, two Pioneer CDJs and a Pioneer Mixer.
This gives DJing newcomers a great system to practice and experiment without the pressure of a live audience and without having to invest in a full-on Pioneer setup at home.
All of the essential parameters you need to practice DJing are available, from various playback settings, including the jog-wheel to three-band EQ controls, cueing and effects.
The game also features several virtual gigs to perform at, allowing you to hone your skills before taking them into the real world.
Where to get it…
Beat School will be available on Windows, Mac and PlayStation through the Steam platform. It’s a great system for newcomers wanting to get into DJing, and seasoned DJs looking for something fun for their downtime.
Beat School is currently only in Beta, and they’re expecting to release on 12 December 2019, for more information check out their Steam page here.
The application is set to retail at USD $50 (Around R750 excl. duties), however, they’re offering it on early access special for 60% off (USD $19.99 – Around R300 excl. duties)
