The Auxy smartphone studio app has been optimized and designed for iOS devices. The designer of the app is one of SoundCloud’s original employees. Henrik Lenberg set out to dramatically streamline the complexities of a traditional studio by rethinking the interface for a mobile user. 

The developers of Auxy are working closely with engineers and producers to add more sounds to the app through in-app purchases.

The collaborations will embed decade’s worth of experience into the product and give you a head start when shaping your tracks.

“Try and finish what it is you started. It doesn’t’t matter how shitty it is, just to get this routine is quite important because so many people get stuck in just making loops and never taking it any further. I think some of the best tracks I’ve made are the ones that I have finished really quickly, that just kinda came to me. In dance music before, you used your computer, everyone had their hardware and their synthesizer machines. Then all of that was turned into these software synthesizers and drum machines that were in the computer and that is what I guess made it possible for my generation to use to make our music and then now just going into smaller devices and you can have all this power now in the palm of your hand so it’s going to be really cool to see where this goes.”
