Arturia Keylab MKII midi controller unveiled
The Arturia Keylab MKII combines extensive control, streamlined workflow and smart features together in an aesthetically pleasing and robust package.
The new Arturia Keylab MKII has all the features we’ve come to expect of MIDI controllers these days, from backlit RGB pads to extensive DAW transport controls, although it has some exciting new features to boot. Arturia have introduced four CV outputs and one CV input, for use alongside a modular synthesizer.
The Arturia Keylab MKII comes in a 49-key and 61-key version, both sporting semi-weighted, velocity and pressure sensitive keys. They’re built in a sturdy aluminium chassis, with aesthetically pleasing wood trimmings and the machined metal pitch and mod wheels give it that extra slick edge. Furthermore, they’re available in either black or white finishes, to best suit your style.

Arturia’s intuitive software allows you to quickly create your own user-mappings and switch between those, DAW controls or a dedicated Analog Lab control section, designed to give you hand-on, seamless control over Arturia’s highly renowned software instrument.
Arturia Keylab MKII is compatible with all major DAWs and comes with a host of preset mappings to get you going straight away. They’re set to retail at €449 Euros for the 49-key and €499 Euros for the 61-key (Around R7000 to R8000) – a very affordable price considering the host of high-end features!
