Arturia FX collection are effects you’ll actually use
Arturia has been on a quest to recreate classic effects in recording history, this is the culmination – Arturia FX collection.
Bringing together all 15 plugins from their “You’ll Actually Use” series, the Arturia FX Collection promises to offer professionals and beginners a huge variety of essential to experimental effects processors, each one with a specific task in mind, making it a great all-in-one collection of effects that you will indeed actually use.
The bundle incorporates their Filters, Compressors, Preamps, Delays and Reverbs and even introduces some brand new unique effects processors.
The Filter bundle features a SEM, Oberheim and Moog style filter effects while the Compressor bundle incorporates classic designs inspired by dbx, Gates and the classic 1176.
The “3 Preamps You’ll Actually Use” bundle is aimed to forge the tone and usability of the analog world with the intuitiveness and convenience of the digital world.
The preamps are recreations of classic preamps from Rupert Neve and Trident consoles to the REDD 37 – the console used to record artists such as Pink Floyd and The Beatles.
The new unique effects…
Arturia has long been known for delivering high-quality recreations of classic analog gear, their recent release of the Pigments synth plugin was their first unique plugin, and it got some rave reviews.
I think this gave them the confidence to dive into creating some unique effects plugins, based on their own ideas – and the new REV Intensity Reverb plugin that they’ve included in the bundle absolutely knocks it out of the park.
It caters to the more experimental side of things as it has some interesting features which allow for complex modulation and feedback to create atmospheres out of nothing. They’ve also added a Spring reverb effect that gives you a more traditional result.
The new Arturia FX collection is set at an introductory price of USD $299 (Around R4500) after 4 March 2020 it will retail at USD $399 (Around R6000).
They’ve got various cross-grade options for existing Arturia software and hardware owners.
