Arpeggios an addictive Chrome-based music tool
Arpeggios is such a fun app from Music Lab we had to ban it in the office, lest no works gets done!
We reported last month on Music Lab a really cool collection of internet browser instruments you can create music with.
The pick so far though has been Arpeggios, which as the name suggests, allows one to play arpeggiated s with different patterns by simply clicking the left and right arrows above the wheel.
And then you tap the wheel you can try out major or minor chords. Instruments available include a harp or piano and you can of course set the tempo using a metronome button.
It also has a sequencer so you can change chords in real time.
Besides the fun factor, on a more serious note this online musical instrument is actually a very handy way to help producers understand chord progressions and possibly gain some inspiration for what to do next in their productions.
At present Arpeggios only works in Google Chrome.
