Apple wants to help you find your lost AirPod earphones
Your AirPod earphones will most likely get lost or misplaced and Apple wants to help make sure you can find them again.
Apple is prepping the release of its latest iOS 10.3 update. An added feature on this update includes the ability to track down where you have lost your Bluetooth AirPod earphones.
The release of the AirPods last year and its awkward design was met with ambivalence. Now they are attempting to solve the issue of these wireless earphones getting lost.
While some were excited about the new slick design that would exclude the stress of wires; others criticised that the earphones weren’t useful during exercise, running, or any other physical activity.
With the iOS update the AirPod earphones have been included in the list of Apple products in the Find My iPhone service.
With the AirPods added to this feature you can trace wheel exactly you dropped or left them, should they go missing. Good luck spotting it wherever it fell though.
The Siri function will get a major increase in capabilities in its update too. Siri will soon be able to connect with a number of different ride-sharing platforms and similar sharing economy apps as well as being more compatible with payments services. Siri will also be able to book you an Uber at a specific time rather than right away.
The iPhone battery issue remains for those batteries that die at 30%. According to reports, they are unable to fix the battery bug with the updates of their latest iOS.
Apple has already released iOS 10.3 for its beta users. But the final release of the new iOS update will only appear in the next few months.
If your phone has been stolen you can access a web portal using your details and view the last known location of your device. Now you will be able to do that with the Airpods earphones.
