Allen & Heath Traktor integration – great for DVS users
Native Instruments has teamed up with legendary brand, Allen & Heath, to offer advanced DVS compatibility and full Allen & Heath Traktor integration across their mixers.
In 2016 Native Instruments and Allen & Heath partnered together to bring all new levels of usability to their then new XONE:PX5.
The XONE:PX5 made waves, because it aimed to breath analogue life into digital DJ setups. It’s no secret that Allen & Heath pride themselves on audio quality, that’s why they’ve become a very common choice for DJ’s looking for audio quality. The XONE:PX5 stood tall because for the first time in a DJ mixer, the power of analogue circuitry and the convenience of digital effects and connectivity came together.
Native Instruments have recognized the power of the XONE:PX5 and teamed up to offer full Allen & Heath Traktor integration to the new mixer. This meant that the mixer was now 100% plug & play with Traktor software, no need for any extra settings to be configured, the computer recognizes the mixer and sets up the software automatically. The reaction from DJ’s the world over was so positive that Native Instruments and Allen & Heath decided to take it a step further.
Which mixers does this apply to?
The Traktor Pro software is now fully DVS compatible with A & H’s XONE:DB2, DB4, 23C and 43C DJ Mixers – all you need is a single USB cable.
This is great for Traktor users, as if you know you’re performing at an event with this mixer, one less thing to pack in the bag! It also means you’re not at the mercy of some random RCA interconnect cables, your signal is being transferred safely to the mixer.
Allen & Heath recommends upgrading your mixer’s drivers and firmware to ensure compatibility, and Native Instruments recommend updating your software to the latest version.
