Airselfie Pocket sized drone camera to replace selfie stick?
A pocket sized flying camera drone on Kickstarter called Airselfie has already received more than R5 million in funding from backers.
You have probably seen a few people going around with selfie sticks and seen the regular sized flying drone with the camera attached. With Airselfie the creators behind the pocket sized flying camera drone are looking to combine the ease of hands free photos with the aerial views you can get with a drone.
The use of drones in photography and film has been growing in popularity in the last few years. The convenience of a pocket sized flying camera drone could create the opportunity for more people to take photos and film themselves this way.
The ultimate Selfie
The Airselfie is scheduled to launch in March next year. The London based company started the Kickstarter campaign for the flying camera drone last week. And they have already racked in millions.
Airselfie will be able to integrate with your smartphone. It will also have a vibration-absorber and in-flight stability systems in order to guarantee clear images.
“Our team of 60 seasoned technology professionals and enthusiasts researched, designed and created a flying camera that exceeds all current standards. We saw an increasing need for a device that goes beyond a selfie stick, allowing users to take pictures from all angles, and we’re excited to introduce AirSelfie to Millennials and consumers around the world. It sets a completely new bar for the market,” saidEdoardo Stroppiana, co-founder of AirSelfie.
