The Lyric Speaker displays lyrics for any song played
Asia loves their Karaoke so this Lyric Speaker from a company called Cotodama is not that big a surprise.
Hand built in Tokyo the Lyric Speaker is a rather sought-after loudspeaker with only 15 being produced each month.
Not only does it display the lyrics of the song being played, the speaker also adapts to the mood of the music and displays different fonts and shapes and naturally moves in sync to the tempo of whatever is playing.
Now, you may be wondering how the speaker is able to dynamically display lyrics as the song is played in real-time, but actually this is done via Japan’s largest database for song lyrics – PetitLyrics with whom Cotodama have partnered.
The database company reportedly have over two million songs stored.
The Lyric Speaker will cost a cool £4,320 so either you’d have to be some sort of Karaoke champion or have the disposable income to splash out on this cool, but costly accessory.
