Youngsta Cpt rages at fans during his Rocking the Daisies performance
Youngsta Cpt gave the Rocking the Daisies crowd a piece of his mind after being disrespected.
When performing in front of a crowd, artists put themselves out there and such vulnerability sometimes gets met with disregard.
How else to express your disdain other than to throw objects at said performer- this is something that has occurred since the dawn of performance.
I mean, why just walk away to one of the other many stages if you can express your contempt in a physical sense?
Most of the time, as a professional you’ll find an artist will ignore the disrespect- after all, the show must go on.
One such artist, naturally from Cape Town decided to go against the grain and express his own disdain at the disrespect of such people throwing things at him during his performance at Rocking the Daises.
Youngsta Cpt
In a video that was naturally shared on social media, outspoken hip-hop artist Youngsta Cpt can be seen retaliating after he had objects thrown at him onstage.
Apparently, the video shows the rapper ‘losing his cool,’ but I mean this is hip-hop and if a normal person had to throw something at you—wouldn’t you say something?
I get the fact that they are professionals but at the end of the day we are all human and being thrown with a beer can hurts both physically and metaphorically.
“Throw something at me again. I will come off this stage and skop you in the p*es, mate. Don’t take me for a p*es,” he said, before turning his attention to other fans and demanding respect.
His reaction drew mixed results from the crowd, with some deeming him as ‘unprofessional.’

My feeling is that if you aren’t satisfied with a performance, just walk away and go find joy at one of the other 4 stages we are blessed to access at Rocking the Daisies.
Youngsta Cpt rages, but I feel that more artists should take notes from his pages.
