Bored wedding DJ whips up a game of Football Manager behind the decks
From DJing to playing Football Manager in a fell swoop.
Paddy Kyle from Cambuslang in Scotland has gone viral after sharing the picture of the wedding DJ who ditched the decks to get his team in order on the football field; it’s all fun and games!
We get it; DJing at weddings can be tedious and uninspired, often having you play the same music wedding after wedding and yes, the crowd of strangers can also bore one to tears.
Besides, they’re not there to watch the DJ, so as long as the tunes are playing why not focus on more important matters like tweaking the tactics of your football team so that you may all be led to victory on a computer game?
5-2-3
The photo was shared on Twitter with the caption: “DJ had enough of the wedding, fired on @FootballManager.”
Paddy’s post has been retweeted nearly 500 times, including by the game’s official Twitter page; and has garnered him more than 2000 likes from social media users.
One can imagine the slew of comments that followed, with users praising him for his ingenuity:
Carl Flanagan said: “Fair play to him lol”, with two crying with laughter emojis.
Simon Howard said: “Got his priorities right.”
Another user said: “F****** genius.”
Followed by the solid football advice:
Adam Joyce added: “Five at the back with three strikers. Some boyo.”
However, there were also some dissenting voices.
One user said: “Going five a the back is criminal. Go big or go home.”
Ty Olorunsola said: “Formation is too negative for me.”
Mike Rafferty said: “Not sure I like that 5-2-3 formation. Front three looks a bit flat, needs to google FM pairs and partnerships.”
Next time you’re bored at your job, whip out some Football Manager and win!
