WATCH: AKA crowd surfing goes horribly wrong
AKA crowd surfing was more like a flopping fish situation.
In a hilariously embarrassing turn of events, AKA’s attempt at crowd surfing during his gig in Rustenberg, North-West ended up with the opposite results. Instead of majestically gliding over the crowd, the “Touch My Blood” hitmaker was left crying on the floor.
As if that wasn’t brutal enough, no one offered to help him up from the ground, choosing instead to gawk at him. But, instead of throwing a fit, AKA kept lying there with a microphone in one hand, while using his other hand to cover his teary eyes as he continued to perform.

Where’s the love, Rustenberg? People are saying he should have known better to crowd surf in Cassper Nyovest’s home province (they have an ongoing beef) but surely if you pay money to see someone perform you are considered a fan? Surely?!

The video, which has racked up 28.6K views since being posted on Twitter on Sunday, has received both comments of support as well as comments taking a dig at him.
