The Visa WaveShades credit card has arrived
The Visa WaveShades was recently incorporated at the Laneway Festival in Australia. Visa users were able to pay with either their cards, phones, or their sunglasses.
The Visa Visa WaveShades has the user’s credit card details pre-installed. That way if you’re paying with your Visa WaveShades it makes your shopping even more streamlined than before. With this you won’t have to fumble around in your pockets for your money or cards to pay for drinks and food while you are out.
If you’re like most people, you wear sunglasses at music festivals, especially during the day time hours to protect from the sun. This innovation therefore makes a lot of sense and could make your experience at the festival a little less stressful. Only, you will have to make sure not to lose your sunglasses. If you keep them on your face or on your head all day you have a good shot of not misplacing them.
This also offers you a safer way of spending while you are having fun. You won’t have to worry about theft or losing your cash. These kinds of devices are convenient in a busy, high traffic environment such as a music festival. They would just have to ensure some kind of code system to go with the credit card, in case someone steals your sunnies.
The festival stall keepers reacted to the Visa sunglasses credit card with mixed responses.
The Visa WaveShades are embedded with payWave technology, so they operate just as your Smartphone would when confronted with a contactless payment system.
As part of the new product promotion, Visa gave away select pairs of the Visa WaveShades with $50 (Australian) on it to spend. This easy payment concept is a lot like Tomorrowland’s wristband payment system.
