Umoya hit maker Heavy K headlines DJ Mfundo’s birthday party
Heavy K, perhaps best known for his massive hit Umoya which features Professor and Mpumi will once again headline DJ Mfundo’s birthday party this year.

DJ Mfundo is the co-owner of Kool Swazi Entertainment and he regularly hosts top South African artists at his parties and this year is no exception. Heavy K is a firm favourite though and of course it’s not just thanks to the track Umoya; Heavy K‘s latest release Respect the Drumboss 2015 gleaned several hit-worthy tracks including Sweetie, Poyiyane and Drumboss. Then let’s not forget Wena from 2013 too.
This year’s event is to be held at Nhlangano’s Southern Country Club on May 7.
“The reason why I am hosting the party in Nhlangano is because of the love and support they give us in that region. That being said, I promised my fellow Swazis that I will host my parties in the four region. so I am planning that next year I will be rocking Mbabane,” DJ Mfundo told the Swazi Observer.
Also on the lineup alongside Heavy K are the Kool Swazi spinners namely; DJ Njebza, Luster, Deepmotion and Freestyle. Local performances will be from DJ Mixmash and Swazi Kwaito star Magaya.

The theme for the event is black. So dress smart and dress sharp.
“I am promising my fellow fun loving Swazis that this show will be bigger and better than previous years and revellers should expect to dance throughout the night. I am also pleading that our fans should seriously consider grabbing the pre-sale tickets as they are very limited,” said DJ Mfundo.
Here’s what the Umoya hitmaker had to say ahead of the event;
“I am excited to come to Swaziland once again this year to perform at Mfundo’s birthday party. Mfundo has given me a lucrative deposit which confirms that I will be in Swaziland on the 7th. I promise my fans the best of me on that day,” said Heavy-K.
