Ultra SA 2015 a massive success say promoters
Ultra SA 2015 was the second yet the global event was hosted in South Africa and it has been lauded as a massive success by its promoters. With more than forty thousand people in total at both sold-out events in Cape Town and Joburg. We have a healthy variety of music festivals in South Africa, and Ultra has proven itself to be on par with some of the biggest edm festivals all over the world.
During the week-end of the 13th and 14th of February this year Ultra SA 2015 brought big festival delights to all those who were in attendance.
The crowd pulling line-up consisted of the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Axwell^Ingrosso, DVBBS, Gorgon City, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Oliver Heldens.
The supporting acts were made up of some distinguished local South African DJ talent such as Black Coffee, Euphonik, DJ Fresh and Goldfish.
Hardwell had this to say about his first performance at Ultra SA 2015:
Ultra SA 2015 didn’t fail to impress. The production was every inch the famed set-up Ultra has become globally known for, whilst the South African clubbers just brought the atmosphere to life and made my experience of the events something truly magical. I’m still smiling at the many glowing memories I’ve taken away from both my sets in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Can’t wait to come back and do it all again in the future!”
The official after movie should be out soon, so you could make a note to keep tabs on their website and Facebook page if you’re interested in seeing it in video form. If you or your friends were there you could probably spend some time combing over it to see if you spot yourselves. The upcoming dates for the third edition of the Ultra South Africa 2016 will be announced too. Since they were sold out, it’s probably a good idea to get your tickets early if you are amped on going to the next one.
