Tshwane Music Festival 2016

The Tshwane Music Festival will take place later this month after the second annual Tshwane Music Conference. The event will act as a climactic end to the conference on Saturday the 28^th of May at the Pretoria Showgrounds.

The Tshwane Music Festival promises to be the biggest party to happen in Pretoria this year. The Tshwane Music Conference which precedes the festival will host a panel of talented local artists with much knowledge to share.

Sharing their thoughts will be guys like DJ Sbu, Oskido, DJ Naves & Sphectacula, Nasty C, and McKenzie. The Tshwane Music Conference will be hosted by Uhuru Entertainment and will happen over the period of three days. It will kick off on the 23^rd of May and run until the 25^th of May 2016.

Industry executives at the conference will include Pioneer’s DJ Terrace, Lebo Mofokeng from Samro, and Lowena Lowries from Mzansi Magic.

An exciting part of the music conference is the opportunity for aspiring musicians to show off their talents. Musical and sound equipment prizes will be awarded to some of the top talent on display, as well as a three year recording deal, and a mentoring programme.

“Our aim for this conference is solely to educate the artist. This includes musicians, producers or DJs and even talent managers about the entertainment industry. We believe that an informed individual will make better personal and business decisions. We anticipate an even bigger turnout than last year with the support of the various partners we have this year.” said Mr Robert Sekowe.
