Transylvania 2016 announces new date plus lineup

Transylvania 2016 have just announced a date change to their event and have also suggested more surprises to come soon!

Originally scheduled to take place on Halloween, the organizers of the event have taken the bold step to move their date to avoid any clashes with other events on the psytrance calendar.

Transylvania 2016 will now be held on the weekend of 26-27th of November, two weeks later than the originally planned date.

Says promoter JP Roelofse:

“We decided to move our date because ultimately we care about the psytrance scene in Cape Town and do not want to create bad vibes with anybody. Psytrance should be about good vibrations and this year I’d like to take all I learnt last year and make Transylvania 2016 bigger and better than ever!”

Last year’s event took everybody by surprise, even the people who organized it, such was the popularity of the party.

This year they’ve changed venues and although nobody’s letting on the exact location yet, they seem excited about where it will be this year. All we know right now is that it is 45 minutes drive from the Cape Town CBD.

The theme for Transylvania 2016 is Redemption Island which in itself has a story behind it, but we’ll leave that up to the event promoters to elaborate on some time in the future.

For now let’s just appreciate the cool lineup and mark this one off on the calendar to attend…
