Trace Mobile App offers sim card order & self-Rica all in one
Get your Sim Card and RICA sorted in less than 2 minutes with the TRACE Mobile app.
In a move set to disrupt the mobile network industry and add immense value for its subscribers, TRACE Mobile, a lifestyle mobile network dedicated to the youth, has launched its first-to-market sim card order and self-RICA system that takes users less than two minutes to complete via the TRACE app.
The introduction of this innovative self-RICA system, SIM ordering and instant SIM collection overcomes one of the biggest hurdles for consumers to sign up or switch to a new network: the tedious RICA process.
But now, in three easy steps, using an innovative ID and profile facial recognition system to process RICA applications, TRACE makes it easier and quick to order your SIM, RICA via the app and collect it instantly through Pargo’s Click and Collect services at over 560 Clicks stores countrywide.
No fuss
The user’s selfie, ID number, surname and address are verified against each other, using the latest state-of-the-art facial and optical character recognition technologies which comply with the POPI and RICA acts to protect the subscribers’ personal information.
TRACE Mobile is partnering with Pargo as its logistic company to offer national instant Click and Collect distribution across South Africa.
“As a true Lifestyle Mobile network, we add value to our subscribers through new technology and we offer a convenient alternative to home delivery, as well as a self-RICA option with total autonomy. Innovation is a key success factor for both TRACE and Pargo and it is great to be able to join forces to disrupt the industry, “says Prescillia Avenel-Delpha, Vice-President Mobile & Marketing at TRACE.
As of today, TRACE Mobile remains the only mobile network in South Africa to offer data and airtime with no expiry date as well as exclusive Afro-urban content, instant rewards from food to fashion and money-can’t-buy experiences.
