If you’ve been to a TOYTOY event, you know the quality of electronic music productions they deliver night in and night out, and this Friday they’re hosting a techno artist that will have you weak in the knees.
Not his first rodeo in Jozi, this Ukrainian techno wiz blew everyone out of the water last time he was here they had to bring him back to do it again.
As described on his Resident Advisor page, “Electronic music has long looked beyond rhythm and melody toward space as a musical dimen-sion. Over the past few years, Etapp Kyle’s cavernous and often hallucinatory techno has dove-tailed into an obsession with spatial qualities of sound, with close ties to Berghain and Ostgut Ton, he has learned from the best in the game! Today Etapp Kyle is on the forefront of a new level of creativity. It’s an audiophile’s approach that has resounded from the sound systems of the world’s most respected techno institutions and festivals.”
