Five people reportedly dead at Time Warp Argentina
Five people have reportedly died at the German brand techno festival, Time Warp Argentina. The festival goers who have passed away were aged between 21 and 25.
Two of the victims died at Time Warp Argentina and three of them died on the way to the hospital. And five other party goers including an 18 year old woman are in critical condition.
With this many victims it appears that they have all experienced acute poisoning at Time Warp Argentina. The substances ingested by all ten victims have not been verified but the doctors have said they will be testing to see what it was…
“We’ll see what substances they took.” said Alberto Crescenti, the head of the emergency services
A few of the event attendees are claiming that the event was over crowded and that they were having a difficult time breathing due to bad ventilation.
“We couldn’t stay inside, we couldn’t breathe. It was too hot and there were too many people.” Said an attendee to a local TV station
Overcrowding and bad ventilation has also previously been the cause of death of a fan at a Skrillex concert in India.
Time Warp is a German techno festival that has been going since 1994 and they have branched out into various countries all over the world. The Time Warp Argentina event is in its third year.
Time Warp made a Facebook statement regarding this recent tragedy…
“We express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the people who passed away. The cause of this tragedy will take some time to determine. The show is cancelled for tonight. We will let you know as soon as possible how you can refund the ticket for tonight. We ask that you keep the loved ones of these people in our thoughts and prayers.”
