Mr. Parrish has announced the release of a new collaborative EP titled What You Gonna Ask For, which will be released on his own Sound Signature imprint.
A collaborative gold mine, the EP features a host of top-class talent including vocals by Lori (Laura Christoforidis), Silentjay—who released a collaborative EP on Rhythm Section—on sax and three members of neo-soul group Hiatus Kaiyote, Simon Mavin, Perrin Moss and Paul Bender, on keys, drums and bass respectively.
What You Gonna Ask For?
The A-side of the EP includes Parrish’s own version of What You Gonna Ask For, with the B-Side donning a killer remix from multifarious British player Dego.
The EP will be released on Parrish’s own Sound Signature imprint, which has put out a mix CD from Julion De’Angelo, In-Patience, and a collaborative EP from DJ Kemit, Carl McIntosh and Kai Alcé called Digital Love (Remix) in 2019.
In other Parrish news, the House legend will be headlining We Out Here, a brand-new festival from Giles Peterson taking place from 15-18 August in Cambridge.
