Taxi Sampler 01 compilation released celebrating music of African youth
Taxi Sampler 01 is released in support of Crudo Volta’s ‘Taxi Waves’ documentary.
The compilation celebrates the soundscapes that define the cultural landscapes of contemporary African youth cultures across the continent.
Appropriately titled ‘Taxi Sampler 01 – Rhythms & Vibes from the Spirit of Young Africa,’ the compilation includes music from genres at the forefront of music in Africa, including afrobeats, afro hip hop, afrobass, gqom, Ethiopian electronic music and kuduro.
