Soundwave Tattoos will play your favourite soundbyte through your phone
The name says it all; Soundwave Tattoos.
By incorporating the waveform tattooing technique you can turn up to 1 minute of sound into a tattoo that you can listen to whenever you want though the corresponding app on your phone.
What makes this truly special is that Soundwave Tattoos can use any sound clip- not just a pre-existing track.
It can be sound clips of any, well, sound.
Whether it is a message from a loved one or a clip of your cat meowing, if it’s a soundwave it can be tattooed on your body and listened to at any time.
What a ‘sine’ to be alive!
Soundwave Tattoos was created by tattoo artist Nate Siggard, based in Los Angeles.
The idea came about when 2 of his clients came to get the opening line from “Tiny Dancer” tattooed. Nate’s girlfriend Juliana remarked about how cool it would be to listen to the tattoo. THANK YOU Juliana!
Nate realised that it was in fact possible to make this happen and soon thereafter released a video of his tattoo of Juliana and their – month-old baby saying, “I love you.”
[youtube_sc url=”pOKqambf6As”]Naturally the video went viral and messages poured in from people all over the world who wanted Soundwave Tattoos.
He then wrote the patent for personalised augmented reality tattoos and launched Skin Motion- the app that brings these Tattoos to life.
A limited number of Soundwave Tattoos will be available for pre-order prior to the Skin Motion app launch in June 2017.
