Sounds Like Women; from inspiring album to Kickstarter campaign
Sounds Like Women, an inspiring album on women’s issues.
The album is the effort of a group of 12 international female vocalists and music artists and aims to raise awareness about the most pressing issues facing women through “Songs without Violence and Of All Colours.”
The project is already creating a major buzz and these fierce females aim to release 12 songs spread across 3 mini albums- ‘Seems Impossible’, ‘Without Violence’, and ‘Of All Colours’ – that will be released every four months and clearly communicate the concept through the song’s stories.
The project has also started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds as well as awareness for the cause, which can be found here.
Let women’s voices be heard
“12 international female musicians have come together to record 12 songs about inequality, domestic violence and racial biases.” Said Luiza Moir aka Luiza Staniec, the founder of the project, while introducing it to the Kickstarter community. “We come from different countries, backgrounds and cultures from all over the world and we are raising awareness worldwide regarding women’s empowerment with this joint collaboration”, She added.
Their goal is to raise nearly $65, 000 to release these songs based on women’s real stories and give a voice to those unable to speak. Everyone from around the world is welcome to become a part of this inspiring campaign by making donations and pledges on Kickstarter.
The project offers several amazing rewards with worldwide shipping with more details available on their Kickstarter page.
Sounds Like Women are giving a voice to the voiceless through an inspiring album.
