SoundCloud profile verification is being rolled out and it the official blue checkmarks across their platform for verified creators.
SoundCloud profile verification is to help well-known artists stand out and maintain their authenticity, and to help listeners identify these artists more easily.
Alongside the launch of blue checkmarks, orange star badges will now live on the profiles of subscribers.
As a Pro subscriber, you’ll receive a new badge exclusive to your Pro subscription coming soon.

Profile verification is to help well-known creators stand out and maintain their authenticity, and to help identify emerging artists who are notable and highly searched for.

How do I apply for profile verification?
To get your profile verified, your account must fulfill the following requirements:
- It represents a well-known and/or highly searched for artist, collective, DJ, label, curator or podcaster
- It must be the unique presence of an artist, collective, DJ, label, curator or podcaster. They will not verify fan accounts or impersonators
- It doesn’t contain any misleading information and adheres to their terms of use
- It must have a bio, profile photo and at least one track uploaded
If you’re ready to apply, log on to your SoundCloud account using your computer, head to your settings and click on the “Request verification” button.
