Check out this awesome new Sony Bluetooth Cup Holder Speaker
Store your drink in the new Sony Bluetooth Cup Holder Speaker.
What an interesting design meeting that must have been. “How can we take a speaker to the next level? Hmm, how about defying nature by fitting it with cup holders?”
I mean, it goes against every ounce of logic we possess, but set that aside because Sony says the GTK-PG10 model “top panel is plash-proof and easy to clean.”
I don’t know if I’d ever get used to that, so instead I’ll focus on the model’s other features, which for a $250 device seems well-suited.
-13 hour battery life
– FM radio tuner
– Carry handles
-Bluetooth pairing for MULTIPLE devices simultaneously (I know it’s not new technology, but it’s still badass)
– A mounting hole for a tripod
– A microphone input for impromptu karaoke sessions
And to reiterate…. CUP HOLDERS!
The bells and whistles
The GTK-PG10 also has sound adaptability based on its current configuration. For example, when the top panel is closed, the tweeters face forward for “volume and clarity” (more intimate vibes).
When said panels are open, the tweeters face upwards and get the party cracking by spreading the sound outwards.
And then you get Sony’s DSP (Digital Signal Processor), technology which automatically adapts its audio settings to optimise the sound for performances of the outdoor variety.
If these features don’t do it for you, remember this speaker holds not only sounds, but also your beers.
There’s no word on when the new Sony Bluetooth cup holder Speaker will be available, but my guess is by the American summer.
