Someone took a bag of healthy groceries to the rave this weekend
The world is a strange and beautiful place, someone in Manchester took a bag of healthy groceries to a rave this past weekend. There are the obvious contraband items not allowed in a night club. But it appears to be taken for granted that you need not tell someone out for a fun time to not bring in lettuce, whip cream, plums, apples and even broccoli into a rave.
Maybe this raver suffers from low blood sugar complications and needs to snack regularly? Either way, super unexpected. The local police even got involved and posted the incident to Twitter with complete details.
The night club, Warehouse Project took the bag of food from the partygoer and was reportedly “supported” by on site police officers. While my mind swirls with hilarious and weird things people do at clubs I’m reminded of an incident at another closed down local venue, Trinity. On opening night someone took a neat little shit on one of the nice leather couches in VIP, so at least the Warehouse Project didn’t have to deal with that this weekend.
Some theories
We digress, back to the person who attempted to sneak in a bag of healthy groceries to the rave. There are a few theories going around the internet as to the reasons behind it all.
- Someone Was Doing a Saturday Night Salad Shop and One Thing Led to Another and They Ended Up Watching Skepta at Warehouse Project
So, not too unlikely. British people are known for heading out to the store and ending up at the pub for a week. Perhaps the person didn’t plan to go “out-out” but just “out”.
- Somebody Confused the Word ‘Pills’ for Plums, Apples, Whipped Cream, a Lettuce and Some Broccoli
Rookie move, but also a possibility.
- Ready Steady Cook is the New Pokemon Go!
This is the lamest theory, but we will make space for all ideas, dumb or smart.
- The raver thought it was a bring your own kind of party and wanted to supply some snacks.
- The items were all in fact for Skepta who had them on his rider.
