Smoking Dragon Festival for New Year’s Eve
The New Year’s Smoking Dragon Festival could potentially be a great way for you to bring in the New Year. The festival is set between the Drakensberg and Amphitheatre mountains and looks out onto the Tugela Falls.
It’s a perfect getaway from the bustle of Joburg city life. You will enjoy musical acts across the following stages namely, The Main Stage, Church Electric Jungle, Fringe Stage and the sparkling new Ripple Zone, complete with a dam, look-out deck and bar. A total of forty acts will be providing the entertainment over the three days at the Smoking Dragon Festival.
Todo Mundo will be performing blends of Spanish Rumba, Reggae, Brazilian, Balkan and Middle Eastern styles. Maskandi musician, Qadasi, Native Young, Crimson House Blues, Sol Gems, Michael Lesar, Vukuzithate, Retro Dizzy, Goldilox, Yolanda Fyrus, Matthew F, TheCity, The Kickstands, The Shabeen, Mudblud, Red Tape Riot, Josh Roxton and Herkie, Ben Day and the Concrete Lions, Josh Wantie, and the Kings Down South will all be performing.
The Smoking Dragon Festival is also a supporter of the LGBTIAQ community. They want you to show up and be free.
