Is Sex better on cannabis?
Zoe Wilder is a writer for Kinkly and she wrote a piece where she listed why she thinks sex on cannabis is better.
She shares that she has found that few things go as well together as cannabis and sex.
She calls organic cannabis the “cosmic key that unlocks libidinous secrets”.
Considering that weed smoking, along with the consumption of alcohol and recreational substances if we’re being honest, go hand-in-hand with partying to repetitive beats, if you are partial to the holy smoke, this feature may interest you.
Below are the seven ways that Wilder says sex on cannabis has worked for her…
Oxytocin, the love hormone is released after orgasm and is also released when you smoke cannabis. THC triggers the release of this hormone and therefore the sex is magnified. You feel more loved up and connected to the person that you’re having sex with.
After consuming cannabis you feel relaxed and that much more open to being in the moment with your partner. She refers to this effect particularly when she smokes CBD strains which are known for its body effects and having anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and muscle relaxant properties.
If you are feeling low you can smoke cannabis high in the uplifting terpene limonene and your mood will lighten. Terpenes are compounds that make up the essential oils found in plants. Terpenes influence the scent of the plant and the kind of high you experience.
The giggles and laughs that come with being stoned is part of what makes it fun, this adds to lightness and fulfillment that sex on cannabis can offer.
Trying out new things
Things like cannabis infused lubricant and massage lotions are a thing now too. Trying these out will add another sensory level to your intimate moments.
Cannabis is known to increase blood flow to the frontal lobe, and it is here where your imagination thrives and sex can get a little more creative.
It makes sense that when you’re high, your senses are heightened and this of course can enhance your experience.
One of the most important aspects of cannabis smoking is moderation and a level of respect for the plant. Smoking too much too quickly can result in you feeling anxious, demotivated, or sedated. Try taking one small hit then waiting a few minutes to see how you rise before hitting it again is a good way to move forward. If you follow these guide lines, your sex on cannabis experience may be just as enlightening as hers.
