Secret Cinema Silver Tour comes to ERA – Win tickets
The Secret Cinema Silver Tour marks the Dutch techno legend’s 25th year in the industry, no mean feat for an underground techno DJ/producer who continues to ply his trade across the globe playing music for those who can understand and appreciate proper dance music.

Not only does Jeroen Verheij produce as Secret Cinema he has also released some classics under other monikers such as Meng Syndicate (Sonar System his most notable) and as Grooveyard with crackers such as Mary Go Wild and Watch Me Now. But the Dutch artist has also some big dancefloor bombs as Secret Cinema such as Timeless Altitude, Gung Ho and Shake Ur Tek-Ass.

The Secret Cinema Silver Tour is testament to the consistently high standard of output he has managed to maintain with his own productions but he is actually an exceptionally good DJ and this is what excites us the most about his next SA performance at ERA in Cape Town.
For those who don’t know, ERA club in Cape Town boasts the phattest of Funktion One sound systems down in the ‘tunnel’ as well as in their cocktail bar so one thing you’re guaranteed is crystal clear sound delivered with sublime accuracy – which is handy when getting down to techno which relies on subtle percussive elements and shifts in groove.
2015 was a really big year for Jeroen; he had 3 tracks in the top 100 at the same time and enjoyed a packed roster of global gigs on various main stages.
Recently he released ‘Secret Cinema – Silver’ to celebrate his 25 years in the biz. It’s a limited edition box set which contains three exclusive new vinyls, a full length documentary and a customized USB stick with his complete discograph as well as all new remixes from the likes of Christian Smith, Heiko Laux and Joris Voorn to name a few.
Secret Cinema will play an exclusive 4 hour show in South Africa at ERA on Friday 13th May. This should be special. He is really a top notch DJ so expect quality music all round.
