Boiler Room in partnership with Ballantine’s are calling all creatives, promoters and artists in SA to submit proposals to get funding for your local music projects that will benefit communities from Boiler Room’s True Music Fund.
The True Music Fund is currently worth R375 000 ($25 000), and applicants are urged to submit their proposals before 9 March. Finalists will be announced before 30 March.
True Music, True Funding
Apart from financial backing, successful applicants will receive support from Boiler Room’s in-house expert programming team and industry network.
Whether you’re seeking advice on how to produce new event formats, recommendations on how to successfully promote new club nights or how to programme educational workshops and securing the investment needed to execute it, the True Music Fund will support a series of local events to empower communities and help them thrive thereafter.
“As champions of authenticity and staying true to self, Boiler Room x Ballantine’s Scotch whisky have taken their partnership to new heights by introducing the True Music Fund, for those who are eager to make a difference in their local music scenes,” Boiler Room said.
So, to all the creatives in SA music, submit your music project proposal to the fund today- you’ve got nothing to lose but everything to gain.
