Reconciliation Festival on the Carnival City lawns
The Reconciliation Festival will be taking place on the 3rd of December on the Carnival City lawns. The festival is in its third year and will feature some of SA’s top tier musicians.
You can expect to be entertained by the likes of Mi Casa, Zahara, Lira, Zonke, Amand Black, Sjava, Rabs Vhafuwi, and Smanga.
The event will start as early as ten am so you have the whole day to enjoy the music and get into the spirit of the Reconciliation Festival.
Mi Casa will be headlining and their faithful following and growing fan base will more than likely be in attendance. Their debut album went platinum within months of being released and their original sound is one that is loved and lauded. Their second album went double platinum and their third studio album is also set to go multi-platinum and has received positive reviews.
Zahara is another local favourite and prime export. Her debut album went platinum in under two weeks of release. She has scooped up eight South African Music Awards which includes the titles “Best Female Artist” and “Album of the Year”. Her debut single has been viewed more than two million times on YouTube.
Family friendly day of music
The Reconciliation Festival is a family friendly event and features a kid’s entertainment area that will have various games to occupy the children.
You can get there early and party for as late as you like, everything kicks off in the morning and promises to end late without a specific closing time.
