Rapper K.O wants to sue Gauteng provincial government
Rapper K.O tweeted, “What is this? Deliberately using a suggestive caricature of myself (and my former Cashtime associates) in this fashion as the face of Covid-19 (with) no consent? A whole (Gauteng Province) government! How low and unscrupulous! I feel violated and extremely disrespected. (I am) seeking legal advice.”
Rapper K.O is not happy with the Gauteng provincial government!
They have used caricature of him in an animated video to remind people why social gatherings are not allowed during the coronavirus lockdown period.
The Hip Hop artist tweeted the image of himself that was used for the Gauteng provincial government’s anti-coronavirus campaign.

The response from his fans and followers has been pretty unanimous.
Take legal action as this is unacceptable.
How often do we witness government officials flout the laws of this country without consideration for their actions.
It’s bad enough that the entire event industry is decimated.
Promoters, artists and the entire supply chain is currently in dire straits, yet they saw fit to simply make use of the Rapper K.O without his knowledge.
The sad reality is that if he does take legal action, they will fight it, they will get it postponed and they will most likely drag it out as long as possible.
Let’s hope not.
