Petite Noir USA Tour Announced
The Petite Noir USA Tour dates have been announced and after his recent debut live performance at the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) more people in electronic music circles will no doubt have looked up and taken notice of this intriguing artist.
The Petite Noir USA tour include 4 gigs during the month of March and it his first ever foray to the ‘land of freedom.’
His first gig will be at SFSX festival in Austin which is an immense event that showcases indie talent from all over the world.
Thereafter the Petite Noir USA tour will take him to the West Coast and finally to New York City on 26 March.
Who is Petite Noir?
Petite Noir’s album La Vie Est Belle/ Life Is Beautiful made some serious waves in 2015. He was actually born in Belgium and his name is Yannick Ilunga but he resides in South Africa and regards himself as a Saffa.
As this interview on True Africa suggest, he is “is riding his Noirwave movement to new heights in a series of electrifying and visually-stimulating shows.”
