Personal robot Temi will be your DJ, photographer & more
We finally have our sci-fi dream come true with the personal robot Temi.
Despite all the technological advances made in the past few decades, we have yet to experience our own personal robot assistant.
Yossi Wolf, cofounder of Roboteam- which provides tactical robots for militaries around the world- wanted to create a robot that will place you at the centre of your technology, that’s affordable.
November 2017 will see the first personal robot assistant, Temi, roll out for a cool and affordable maximum price of $1500.
This means that you will be able to have your own personal DJ, photographer and video hub for a cheaper price than a MacBook Air.
It runs on an Android system, making Temi compatible with all your favourite apps and is built on ever-evolving algorithms that allow it to adapt to your habits.
Personal robot Temi on the decks…
Temi has an 8-megapixel camera and Harman Kardon speakers and is fully integrated with Facebook, Uber, Spotify and YouTube.
It can play your music, take your pictures and remind you to buy milk.
It is fully mobile and can follow you around your house.
In a world that’s ever-increasingly becoming hands-free, Temi is the next step in hands-free technology.
Temi will launch in November, rolling out 1000 units to a group of early adopters and influencers. Wolf wishes to develop the product through feedback and commentary, making Temi the best robot it could possibly be.
The future of Temi looks at telecare, education and language learning, among others.
With its DJ feature, who knows what the future holds?
Maybe we’ll see DJ Temi behind the decks at of our favourite music festivals.
But then again, who would want to miss out on the human interaction of vibing and grooving with human DJ’s.
The Jetsons come to life as we see robot assistant Temi emerge in November.
