OZ promoter calls out artists who use Ghost Producers
Ghost producers have always and will continue to be a dirty not so secret ‘secret’ of the music industry. Recently an Australian promoter named Danny Grant from Melbourne, took to Facebook to call out ghost producers and vent his frustration.

Grant is the head of Loud Entertainment and in his viral Facebook post he has sworn to out big names in the business that make use of and rely on ghost producers.
He said that for every two hundred likes he would share an Australian or international artist who is guilty of the crime.
So who are these ghost producers?
He mentioned the following artists…
DVVBS, Timmy Trumpet, Steve Aoki, Hannah Wants, Timmy Trumpet, Tiësto, Tigerlily, and The Stafford Brothers were named and shamed.
The status update and its comments reads like another drama hungry Facebook post in a sea of users looking to be entertained.
Danny asked a relevant question, he wants to know whether or not the guilty ghost producers are ashamed of what they are doing.
“What i[sic] don’t understand is the excuses people use to justify why they/their artists have ghost writers. If your artist/you aren’t ashamed of it then why not openly admit it? Because no matter which way you spin it to justify it to yourself secretly you are ashamed of what you are doing.”
It can be annoying for producers who work hard at making their music to see others take credit for work that is not theirs. But this is a conversation that has been had a thousand times and nothing about its revelations are either shocking or intriguing.
In Danny’s case, requesting likes in exchange for names is one way to get people to pay more attention to you on social media.
A few hours after the ghost producer post was made Danny Grant announced that he was told he would be facing legal action from a major Australian agency if he carried on with his accusations.
