Nightmares On Wax played the highest DJ set in history, literally

Nightmares On Wax waxed a world record.

George Evelyn just made history by playing the highest DJ set ever, playing at the highest elevation on the planet.

The legendary set was hosted by Last Night A DJ Saved My Life and took place on the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

No walk in the park, Evelyn and sixteen fellow climbers made the perilous 18 865-foot trek on September 1, on the International Day Of Peace, taking them to Crater Camp near the top of the mountain.

A noble climb for a good cause

They say that music makes the world a better place, and this mission takes it to the highest level. The DJ set trek was designed as a fundraising event for Feathers Tale Children’s Village in Tanzania and has raised over €55,000.

The funds will “be used to build a specialist accommodation facility for 25-50 special needs children & their single mothers”.
