Night Nation Run comes to Cape Town
The Night Nation Run will take place in Cape Town on Saturday the 21st of January 2017, so you have plenty of time to get yourself ready.
Here is a world first running music festival and it is known as a 5km ‘musical voyage’. All 5km will be filled up with live music, various stages, lasers, and light shows.
You can take part in the Night Nation Run and do pretty much whatever you like throughout the set out distance. You can run, skip, walk, or dance your way to the finish line.
Music and exercise
The Night Nation Run is a fun combination of exercise and music. To participate you don’t have to be into EDM or even that into fitness. All you need is a willingness to get involved and be ready to have an original fun time.
This event like all others of its kind around the world will be supporting a charitable cause known as The Pink Drive.
The Night Nation Run in Cape Town will be the first time the event is hosted in Africa…
“We were in New York recently and were amazed as we watched husbands, fathers, brothers, mothers, daughters, and friends run for themselves and each other and for people they didn’t even know. This race goes beyond just having a crazy good time on the night, as it unites people from all walks of life and also raises money that goes straight back into fighting cancer. We aim to do the same with all our NNR events here in Africa.” Said organisers, Alison Dixon, and business partner Gwynneth Matthews
The run will kick off at the Grand Parade in Cape Town and you will make your way through an illuminated racecourse and you will be able to stop and experience three other impressive stages. The after party – back at the start – will include a final main stage experience with EDM DJs and everything will end around midnight.
Tickets start at R350 per person. Early bird tickets are also available online.
