New Steve Angello album coming in 2017
A new Steve Angello album is on its way in 2017. The DJ took to Twitter to share the news of his second album which is due for release next year.
When Swedish House Mafia went separate ways in 2013, Steve Angello made it a mission to embark on a solo career. He released his first solo album, Wild Youth and how he will be following that album up with a second one.
His tweet implied that since there is a new Steve Angello album in the works, touring will be put on hold.
Steve Angello tweeted…
“album time = no touring”
His debut album reflected his growth as a producer. It was made up of signature house sounds that he helped pioneer. This included a rebellious streak that gave the album its inherent quality.
His latest track ‘Follow Me’ is one he produced alongside Still Young. It has all the energy that you can find on Wild Youth alongside a mesh of other genre influences and progressive house.
This track leads fans to expect more of his distinct sound on the new Steve Angello album. For all of his fans it’s something bright to look forward to in the new year.
The Size imprint is also set to have a big year. Steve founded the label in 2003 and represents other favourite artists such as Avicii, Tiësto, Afrojack, and Don Diablo.
As an extra bonus for Angello an Size fans, the “Size in the Park” will be making a comeback in the new year. The last “Size in the Park” show took place in 2014 so it’s about time for a new one.
“Size in the Park” featured artists such as Sunnery James, AN21, and Max Vangeli and more. The support line-up for next year’s event hasn’t been announced, all of that will be released next year too.
Look out for updates on the new Steve Angello album.
