Release Date: 9 July 2012
Its a busy time for Steve Rachmad. Having recently released the “Magnetic Reversal” double 12” under his Parallel 9 alias and currently celebrating the re-release and remixed version of his 1995 classic, “The Secret Life Of Machines”, the Dutch techno hero now turns his attention to his debut for Joris Voorn & Edwin Oosterwal’s, Rejected imprint. A dream hook up from the orange nation that sees Steve present two hot exclusive slices of tech house.
A side “Bling It Up” finds Steve in full melodic fettle. Warm bass, crisp percussion and a smooth as silk synth melody create a perfect terrace anthem or early mailroom party starter. Rachmad’s softer side takes a back seat on the flip as his techno sensibilities come to fore on the rough and ready, “Data Overload”. Its earth-moving kick drum paves the way for its twisted razor-edged bassline, while its staccato siren melody spritely prances throughout.
