Nando’s launches music studio in London
From chicken to tunes, Nando’s launches music studio in London.
The South African-founded chicken chain extraordinaire has opened a music studio at one of their primary London branches.
The studio welcomes budding musicians to come and drop their beats while enjoying some famous peri peri chicken- a match made in heaven.
The studio is located at Nando’s in Frith Street, Soho, and will allow successful applicants the chance to record their own music for free, with the help of state-of-the-art equipment that includes a Neumann U87 microphone as well as assistance from an in-house engineer.
Other equipment available includes an Apple iMac decked out with Waves Platinum Bundle, which is a leading recording software package.
Diners will be able to watch the magic transpire from the restaurant through glass doors.
Nando’s knows how to spice things up!
This big step comes after the restaurant found great success through the Nando’s Music Exchange, a programme which started 4 years ago and inspires a global exchange of music influences through mentoring, workshops and events featuring leading artists like Stormzy and Ella Eyre.
“We’re really excited to open our first music space, both for our growing network of artists but also for our fans looking for a unique experience in restaurant. Some of the best ideas have started over PERi-PERi (or so we’re told), so we’re looking forward to hearing what happens when we bring together chicken and tunes!”, a Nando’s spokesperson said.
Imagine how life-changing a Nando’s studio would be in the homeland of South Africa- just saying! It could benefit so many budding musicians who don’t otherwise have access to such facilities.
Nando’s launches music studio in London which is open 5 days a week, potential artists can apply for a spot here.
