Nadia Nakai signs to Cassper Nyovest’s record label
One thing SA rap artists are not short on and that is telling you how amazing they are and Nadia Nakai is no exception. The self appointed ‘AfricanRapQueen’ – as she calls herself on Twitter – has reportedly just signed to Cassper Nyovest’s record label.
This comes just two months after Nadia Nakai started her own ‘beef’ with AKA because he did not include her in his all-female Baddest Remix. Instead she released her own Baddest Remix, taking shots at the industry.
She was clearly pissed off. But if AKA had originally excluded her from his Baddest Remix it’s unlikely that he’ll be phased at all by her signing with Family Tree Records, Cassper Nyovest’s label.
It may mean that AKA will face a double barrage of verbal abuse in the future especially since it was reported again somewhere in an interview that AKA said he’d never reconcile with Nyovest. Oh and Nyovest also claimed recently he made over 8 million from shows in 2015.

“It’s been hard tryna keep this on the DL!!!! But I’m super excited to let you guys know that I’m officially under the Family Tree Records stable!!!! I’m excited to be working with Cassper Nyovest and the Family Tree Records team on my project!,”
