Just Music has proudly announced a performance by one of 2013’s international breakthrough artists, Robert Delong live at the Just Music Sessions.
As part of their 10 Year Anniversary celebrations, Just Music has committed to making 2013 a musical year to remember, starting with DeLong performing an intimate show at The World Of Yamaha Theatre in Sandton on the 12th of August. Robert will also be performing at this year’s Oppikoppi Festival.
Robert Delong, best known for his 5FM Top 5 smash hit ‘Global Concepts’, with its catchy hook: Did I leave my life to chance? Or did I make you fucking dance?”, and his latest single ‘Happy’, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist who presents a striking one-man show using keyboards, laptops, video game controllers, drums and lights, whilst delivering flawless vocals. His energetic show builds giant songs up from scratch and is truly a rare and unique experience to see live.
DeLong is one-man futuristic dance party with beats as cerebral as Orbital and club-ready as Calvin Harris, DeLong is also a profoundly gifted singer/songwriter who raises questions about identity and spirituality. Those two elements join together on his debut album ‘Just Movement’, a dazzling collection of dance beats, pop hooks and thought-provoking queries that could very well be the soundtrack for 2013.
