Dance heavyweights Ministry of Sound have welcomed scene legend and genre-founding father Lange to the mix of the much-admired Trance Nation series. Lange joins the respected comp-mixing DJ legion of Trance Nation (which has included luminaries such as Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, Rank 1 and Andy Moor).
Lange’s mixes draws on more than a decade’s knowledge of ahead-of-the-curve sounds and styles, catalysed by thorough drops and marathon lifts, Lange brings his unique take on the trance genre to two sun-summoning Trance Nation mixes.
Lange innately compiles and harmonically mixes across a broad stylistic range that characterizes the lifeblood of trance in 2013. His mixes features sonic delights from Ferry Corsten, Arty, Cosmic Gate, Andy Moor, Orjan Nilsen, Bobina, Shogun and a stellar host of others. The two discs also include 5 massive exclusives from the desks of Lange’s own studio and Lange Recordings label.
Of his Trance Nation compilation, Lange said that it’s an honour to have been invited to mix this album. He stated that for over a decade now the Ministry of Sound Trance Nation series has become a legendary snapshot of the ever-evolving scene, and that he now follows in the footsteps of some of its most respected artists.
