MTN Bushfire 2018 new features will increase your experience
Already named the BBC’s top African Festival, MTN Bushfire 2018 takes it up a notch.
“MTN Bushfire is more than a festival, it’s a living, breathing ecosystem deeply rooted in African soil, yet inclusive and welcoming to guests from all over the world,” as said in their overview.
Every year, around 29 000 guests from 58 different countries come together at the lush farmlands of the Malkern’s Valley in Swaziland to celebrate music, tolerance, the arts and the environment.
For their 2018 ‘12th edition’ they’ve taken it up a notch and are offering guests an experience never to be forgotten.
Firstly, they have announced that the camp grounds will be open from Thursday, 24 May, giving you an extra day to set up and relax before getting festive. Not to mention alleviating some border pressure getting into Swaziland.
That golden ticket!
Bushfire has also simplified their ticketing process, with the following options available:
Full Festival Golden Lounge – ZAR 1,550.00
-Provides you with the ultimate MTN Bushfire VIP experience from Friday, May 25th to Sunday, May 27th. Get access to an exclusive sitting area with a great view of the stage, LED screens, dedicated waiter service and heaters to keep the cold away at night
Full Festival Main Arena – ZAR 780.00
-Provides access to the MTN Bushfire main festival arena from Friday May 25th to Sunday May 27th.
Full Festival Children – ZAR 230.00
For children aged 6-12, can be used as single day ticket or a full festival pass. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by their parent to enter the Golden Lounge. Children ages 5 and under enter festival free and do not require a ticket. Proof of age for children will be required to enter the festival venue.
Bushfire 2018 will also be cashless, making use of smart armbands, giving you access to all festival treats.
Lastly, they are bringing in a KidZone, making Bushfire festival a true family friendly experience. They even have a special family camp ground.
