MTN Bushfire 2016 festival
The MTN Bushfire 2016 festival is back for its tenth year, bringing the fire as they always do with some of the best African and world music on offer.
The Swaziland festival is an internationally acclaimed music and arts event that celebrates creative expression which draws talent and tourists from all over Africa and around the world.
The MTN Bushfire 2016 promises to be another one of their stunning festivals that is a complete lifestyle experience from music, to food, and family.
In keeping with the experimental and eclectic essence of the festival the line up will be made up of artists from southern African and all over the world.
Confirmed for this year’s event is genre bending South African collaborative act Bombshelter Beast featuring Pitch Black Afro. This act performs a fusion of Afrikaans -jazz-afro-rap that has to be experienced in order to be fully understood.
Also on the line up is Bjork’s hang drummer, Manu Delago, who will be performing with saxophonist and clarinet player Pepe Auer.
South African artists on the line up such as Native Young, Nomadic Orchestra, Felix Laband, and Toby2Shoes will be performing too.
This destination event sells out fairly quickly and you would have to get in there early if you want to secure your spot. If you are interested in making the tours part of your experience then you would have to make sure you book ahead of time too.
